See Biography below. ABOUT: I'm a self-confessed music junkie. I try to play every instrument I can get my hands on, and I've managed to get the hang of guitar, bass, drums, and piano (relatively well). I began by playing guitar about 22 years ago (when I was 12) and learned by playing along with Gordon Lightfoot songs. I never had the patience for lessons, so I taught myself as much as I thought I needed to know to "get by". My younger brother picked up drums and I learned a bit from him and my other brother played bass. My younger sister also plays guitar...a regular Partridge Family, I guess. I'm not sure where we get the musical tendencies because no one else in the family plays any instruments or sings. I began playing other instruments (besides guitar) out of necessity (musicians are flaky) and I've become proficient at most of them. Drums are probably my favorite...and my neighbors' LEAST favorite. I started singing by accident while I was a rhythm guitarist in a band several years ago and have kept it up ever since. The singer quit (or did we fire him....I don't remember) and I got promoted....funny how things work out. Generally, I try to play all of the instruments on my songs...at least, whenever possible. If you click on the song title links, you'll be able to read who was playing what instrument. I wrote all of the songs and arrangements and recorded all of it at home in a $2,500 studio. It's amazing what you can do with technology these days. I spent 6 years in the Marine Corps as a helicopter crew chief and served in Iraq and Somalia. I'm a Mortgage Banker by trade and have been in the finance business for about 10 years now. I've been married to my wife, Trinity, for 15 years and have 3 children (2 of whom read music and play piano better than their dad); Daniel (14), Devin (12), and Jordan (10).
